I bought these mainly for the novelty, but the fabric is thicker than I expected, so they actually feel like they’ll hold up through the wash. The mushroom print is positioned perfectly on the ankle, not stretched weird when I put them on.

The stitching is really solid for a pair of novelty socks, and the mushroom print has held up perfectly after several washes. I wore them around the house all day and they stayed put without sagging, which is more than I can say for most of my other pairs.

The knit is noticeably denser than your average character sock, so I'm not worried about them wearing through after a few washes. The familiar face on the ankle is perfectly placed to peek out from my boot hem, which makes me smile every time I catch it.
