The 1/48 scale hits a sweet spot—about 105mm tall, so it fits nicely on a shelf without vanishing. Joints are all articulated, and the blue plastic has a nice sheen right out of the box; snapped together in under an hour.

It’s been ages since I built a kit that didn’t need paint to look sharp—the blue plastic here is clean enough that I left the gray primer version in the box. The joints are stiff but move well for posing, and at 105mm it fits right on my shelf without taking over.
