The joint system for attaching it to the Ikaruga feels satisfyingly sturdy, and the floating display stand really sells that menacing aerial pose. Putting the two together to form Magatsu Ikaruga was more complex than I expected, but the dedicated connectors make it work perfectly.

The part separation is ridiculously good for a kit this size—I didn’t need any paint to get the two-tone armor looking sharp. The floating display base is a nice touch too, and the connection parts for Magatsu Ikaruga click in without any fuss.

The transformation into Magatsu Ikaruga is incredibly satisfying, with the separate connection parts making it feel like a proper combined mode rather than just a simple swap. Assembly was straightforward and the color separation is impressive straight off the runners.
